MCNLive is a Mandriva-based LiveCD and LiveUSB Linux distribution. It is a full featured Linux Desktop Live System, running from CD or USB flash drive. It aims to be a userfriendly, fast and simple portable Operating system grounded on the KISS philosophy: dynamic hardware detection, graphical wizards to put it on a USB key, the copy2ram feature to speed things up, multi-language setup - all this on less than 350 MB.
MCNLive features the KDE desktop environment and includes Internet applications, video, music and imaging software, games, networking tools and the KOffice suite.
Development
MCNLive is in active development. Stable editions since 2004. The latest is MCNLive Cherbourg (2006). A team of Dutch and Belgian volunteers are creating and testing MCNLive.
