LinuxConsole is a Linux distribution based in France. Its latest version is LinuxConsole 1.0.76, released on January 2, 2007.
Its name derives not from command line interface, but from a video game console. Like a game console, it the project focuses heavily on games and multimedia, and also on usability.
LinuxConsole is primarily based on IceWM. GNOME, Freevo and MythTV are also included.
In addition to the traditional hard disk installation, LinuxConsole has a range of booting options:
