Coyote Linux is a very small distribution of Linux, including the operating system and the necessary services for a firewall/router, intended for easy NAT sharing of an internet connection with a single IP address among many computers on a local network, using spare "commodity" hardware. It can be loaded from a single 1.44MB diskette, and requires a 486DX or better CPU with at least 8MB of RAM. It can be administered locally from the console, remotely through SSH, or remotely using a web browser.
