Jedi GNU/Inferior is a minimalistic distribution of GNU/Linux. Its aim is to be a stable platform for the force-get package manager, which allows for the coexistence of source and binary software packages and cross-dependencies between the two. Jedi Linux uses only mainstream, pristine development sources, without any vendor patches applied to help minimalize the chances of incompatibility between seemingly unrelated packages.

The current release is 0.2 which can be used as a chroot-able environment, or it can be installed via a live CD. Though there are a few bugs, one can setup X and programs like Firefox on the system.
With the release of 0.3 there should be an overhauled package-management system via force-get, and a system control tool; as well as the obligatory bug fixes.
