Ichthux is a Linux distribution, modelled on Christian values and designed for use by individuals and churches. It is based on Kubuntu, however work is being done to make it work with Debian.

It features various translations of the Bible, and a Bible study program.

Releases

Ichthux was first based on the Knoppix CD. Later, it targeted to a Custom Debian Distribution (CDD). Then the project grew around the Ubuntu community. Since version 6.09, based on Ubuntu 6.06 LTS "Dapper Drake", Ichthux has been based on Kubuntu.

As for Ubuntu, each release since Ichthux 6.09 has both a code name and a version number based on the year and month of release.
