Haansoft Linux is a Linux distribution. It is developed by Korean software vendor Haansoftlinux, a subsidiary of Haansoft Corporation.

Status

In 2005, Haansoft Linux joined Asianux, a joint development project started by Linux vendors Red Flag Software Co., Ltd. (of China), and
Miracle Linux Corporation (of Japan- 58.5-percent owned by U.S. company Oracle Corporation).

Asianux is considered as a core component, or basis for a Linux distribution, available under GPL, which is to be released later by the above-mentioned companies as its own distribution with specific features. Asianux 2.0 now provides a basis for server operating system, desktop uses or powerful workstation.
