Flonix USB Edition is a compact Linux operating system for the x86 architecture that runs from USB flash drives.

Flonix USB Edition is produced by Flonix and can be found on USB keydrives (at least 128 MB). The current version is i-usb 1.2.

Flonix USB Edition have a complete user friendly desktop, including: Mozilla Firefox web browser, Sylpheed email client, MPlayer video player, XMMS audio player, OpenOffice.org office suite, hardware configuration tools developed by the Knoppix project.

Flonix has a feature, called WebInstall plugins system, that allows the user to install programs off the Internet into RAM. This reduces the need to fit the programs onto a CD.

Flonix's heritage comes from Knoppix, which is in turn derived from Debian. It is sometimes contrasted to Damn Small Linux which fits on a "bootable business card", a small CD-ROM.
